Founded in 1872, Temple Street Children’s Hospital is an acute pediatric hospital which cares for approximately 145,000 children per year from across Ireland. With a staff of 95 consultants and over 950 others (comprising of nursing, paramedical and support staff) it is one of the country’s largest children’s hospitals and has particular expertise in treating neurological, renal and cardiac conditions.
Following a strategic review of fundraising, CCS collaborated with Temple Street Foundation to develop a major gifts program. This included case development for the construction of new neurology and renal units; the organization of high-end cultivation events; and the recruitment and coaching of volunteer leadership. As a result, Temple Street secured some of the largest corporate and foundation gifts received in its history.
