Feeding America

Feeding America is the leading domestic hunger-relief organization in the United States. Each year, through its network of 200 food banks and food rescue organizations, Feeding America helps provide food to more than 46 million people facing hunger— one in eight Americans, including 12 million children and 7 million seniors. For nearly a decade, CCS has served as a trusted partner and advisor to Feeding America nationally and as a resource to its 200 network members.

Feeding America and CCS partner on a variety of fronts. CCS has managed multiple capital campaigns for network food banks; conducted dozens of feasibility studies and development assessments; conducted a development assessment for the national office in 2016; and now manages Network Fundraising Services, a department within Feeding America designed and piloted by CCS to increase local food bank fundraising capacity.

For 20 years, the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House has provided a home away from home for families with critically-ill children. With the growth of the Inland Empire and the Loma Linda University Hospital, the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House sought to expand to meet ever-increasing demand for services. Over the course of a year, CCS partnered with Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House to help raise $12 million to more than double the House’s capacity.

MusiCares Foundation

Founded by  The Recording Academy in 1989, MusiCares provides confidential emergency health and human services and addiction recovery resources to music people in need. In concert with its 20th anniversary, MusiCares Foundation partnered with CCS to help organize and direct the organization’s first-ever campaign. This $10 million endowment effort raised nearly $13 million to better support the organization’s existing services.

Lions Clubs International

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization, with 1.4 million members and a network of 46,000 clubs working together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world. To support the Lions’ mission to control and eliminate major preventable forms of blindness, CCS designed and managed two landmark campaigns to fund the SightFirst program. Both campaigns oversubscribed their goals, raising nearly $350 million from donors in 180 countries.

Lions Clubs International Foundation and CCS continue to work together to achieve the organization’s overarching mission. CCS is currently conducting an assessment of the foundation’s fundraising program.

The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International

Rotary International is a global organization of business professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. CCS partnered with the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International to conduct a $120 million campaign to immunize more than 500 million children against polio. More than $247 million was raised. Most recently, CCS conducted a comprehensive fundraising assessment of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.

National Urban League

Project Rock is a capacity building effort for the Affiliates of the National Urban League. The program prepares each Affiliate with the tools it needs to implement fundraising best practices at the local level. Elements of Project Rock include: individual consulting with Affiliate CEOs; regular online courses open to all Affiliates; a comprehensive website with fundraising materials; an in-person fundraising training; and a hotline for Affiliates to call for fundraising advice.
