How We Helped

Our Partnership

Knock Shrine is a pilgrimage site and national Marian Shrine in the West of Ireland. Each year, over 1.5 million pilgrims visit to explore and deepen their faith. CCS has engaged with Knock Shrine since 2014, already completing its most ambitious fundraising initiative to date—Witness to Hope and is currently involved in the shrine’s second campaign—Together in Faith.

Witness to Hope was a terrific success, securing significant support across Ireland and internationally, receiving some of its largest gifts in a long history, and raising a total of €13 million. Simultaneously, CCS developed a comprehensive plan for the annual pilgrimage season, helping to receive over 17,500 gifts and establishing the necessary systems to track and steward these.

Thanks to the success of Witness to Hope, in November 2017, Knock Shrine embarked on its second large-scale fundraising campaign—Together in Faith. With a goal of €6 million, over €3.5 million has been raised to date. CCS also played a crucial role in the successful organisation and management of the historic Papal visit to Knock on the 21st of August 2018.
