How We Helped

THE CHALLENGE

Since opening in 1996, the Ronald McDonald House Inland Empire has provided comfort, care, and support to children and families in Southern California. With the growth of the Ronald McDonald House Inland Empire and the Loma Linda University Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House Inland Empire sought to expand to meet ever-increasing demand for services. Over the course of a year, CCS partnered with Ronald McDonald House Inland Empire to help raise $12 million to more than double the House’s capacity.

THE SOLUTION

After more than a decade of planning, Ronald McDonald House Inland Empire partnered with CCS to oversee all aspects of the campaign. Initially, CCS focused on developing the campaign plan, recruiting and training leadership, building the prospect list, developing cultivation and solicitation strategies, finalizing the case for support, and creating materials. As the campaign unfolded, CCS continued to play a vital role in driving activity, providing ongoing strategy, staffing executive and volunteer leadership, and overseeing all back office campaign functions.

THE IMPACT

The campaign was a success, and the House re-opened in September 2016. Now, 7,500 individuals per year will be able to call the Ronald McDonald House Inland Empire home.
