The MBL, in Massachusetts, needed to ensure its future by raising funds for endowment and operating support for its outstanding research and educational programs, and for capital projects. CCS provided full-time on-site counsel for its campaign, which contributed to campus infrastructure renovation and support.
Incorporated in 1888, the Marine Biological Laboratory is an international center for research, education, and training in biology and ecology. The MBL needed to ensure its future by raising funds for endowment and operating support for its outstanding research and educational programs, and for capital projects.
After conducting the feasibility and planning study for the MBL, CCS provided full-time, on-site counsel to this internationally recognized leading institution of biological research and education during its $125 million campaign.
Support came from donors interested in assuring the health of the planet, training the next generation of leaders in the life sciences, and improving the MBL campus infrastructure. The MBL’s central research training facility, the Loeb Laboratory, received $25 million for renovation and support, which also led to the establishment of the new Eugene Bell Center for Regenerative Biology and Tissue Engineering.Contact Us
