A profile picture of Carolyn McLaughlin.

As an Executive Vice President at CCS Fundraising, Carolyn has dedicated her career to the nonprofit community throughout the Philadelphia region and beyond. For 17 years, she has helped organizations of all sizes achieve philanthropic growth and mission-impact. Carolyn has raised more than $25 million for organizations including The Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Back on My Feet, Habitat for Humanity, Malvern Preparatory School, and The Salvation Army. Early in her career, Carolyn was also privileged to conduct large-scale assessments for Habitat for Humanity International and the State University of New York, both resulting in pathways toward exponential philanthropic opportunity.

In 2018, Carolyn joined the Strategy & Operations team at CCS to design the necessary infrastructure to maintain and grow business development and market presence activity for the newly established Philadelphia office. Since that time, the Philadelphia team has more than doubled in size, revenue and client reach.

A member of the firm’s Operations leads, Carolyn collaborates across teams on special projects to standardize functions, enhance efficiencies, and scale for growth. Most recently, Carolyn was invited to build the strategy & operations infrastructure for CCS’s Systems & Analytics practices in addition to her role on the leadership team in Philadelphia.

Committed to her local community, Carolyn is a volunteer for causes supporting open adoption and currently serves on the Endowment Board and Development Committee for St. Agnes Elementary School in West Chester, PA.

Carolyn earned a master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in Religion from La Salle University.
