Jacob joined the Analytics team at CCS in 2021. In this role, he validates and examines gift and donor data to develop impactful strategies for clients. With the Analytics team, he works directly with clients and directors to understand the unique factors involved with each client and communicate actionable insights.

Working with experienced data scientists and statisticians, he developed a thorough understanding of data modeling, trend identification, and statistical analysis. Further, he gained extensive experience with the technical tools (Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau) that best implement these quantitative approaches.

Jacob also brings with him over 10 years of experience in academia. He earned his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Duquesne University and his B.A. from St. John’s College, Annapolis. He won several competitive awards for both collaborative projects and his personal research, including a Fulbright Research Fellowship. He taught over 40 classes in logic and the humanities at diverse institutions, including Duquesne University, Villanova University, Temple University, and the Universität Kassel.

Jacob lives in south Philadelphia with his wife, three cats, and uncountable books.
