Dr. Yasha Kaushal has experience in quantitative research, statistics and machine learning and is adept in analyzing large datasets, developing predictive models, and designing experiments. Her expertise extends to using cloud technology for deployment of scalable data-driven solutions. She brings a passion for storytelling through data visualization, translating complex insights into actionable strategies for diverse stakeholders.

At CCS, Yasha is contributing in the development of scalable automation framework to build advanced analytics products using state of the art generative technologies. This will streamline project turnover in an efficient and timely manner with CCS’s expanding client base.

Before joining CCS, Yasha collaborated with NGOs like Catalyst Connection in Pennsylvania, to refine their strategies and optimize their fundraising outcomes. She also has extensive experience in academic research, where her doctoral work focused on solving complex open-ended problems, deriving insights from large datasets, and communicating findings to varied audiences.

Yasha has been involved in various DEI and leadership efforts supporting diverse student organizations. She was also involved in various academic initiatives involving researchers across the globe. She is committed to fostering innovation, collaboration, and excellence in analytics to support CCS’s mission of creating transformative change through philanthropy.

Yasha holds a PhD and MS in Astrophysics from the University of Pittsburgh along with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from NIT Bhopal, India. She is currently residing in Pittsburgh and enjoying its multicultural environment. Outside of work, Yasha enjoys hiking in nature, traveling to experience different cultures and spending time engaging in community service initiatives.
